The film explores the lives of four boys at Ipoderac, a home for abandoned or abused children, as they attempt to let go of the past, and adjust to their futures. Opper will speak at the showing of the still-in-progress film, along with a panel of Ipoderac supporters and volunteers.

Patty Schemel, the drummer of Courtney Love’s band Hole, documented her life with a series of home videos that reveal intimate moments on tour, her friendship with Kurt Cobain, and her forays into addiction and alcoholism. Director P. David Ebersole took those videos and filled in the rest of her story—one she almost didn’t survive—with interviews from Hole today.
