Ed Ruscha: On the Road
Jack Kerouac's beat generation bible (aka On the Road) defined his career, which included brief stints in Colorado—and long nights at My Brother's Bar. Artist Ed Ruscha used this seminal work as the basis for his latest exhibit. Photos, sketches, and paintings of desert roads, stacked sandwiches, and lonely mountain peaks—done by Ruscha or commissioned from other artists—are superimposed with passages from the novel, breathing fresh life into an old story. Days, times vary.
Cost: $10.
